Talk a Good Game has taken on a double-meaning once or twice in the life of R&B superstar Kelly Rowland, she revealed in a tell-all recent interview her pastor Erwin McManus.
Answering a series of deeply personal and professional questions during the nearly hourlong chat, the GRAMMY winner spoke candidly about the mutual decision she and husband, Tim Witherspoon, came to cut professional ties and focus solely on their marriage.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also discussed at length money woes she suffered in the past trying to “keep up” a certain look. Taking to the platform, Rowland said:
“No one would believe this and actually this would be my first time talking about it, but I almost lost everything because I was so busy trying to keep up… Whether it was the look, whether it was the wardrobe, whether it was the car, whether it was the place… all of that silliness!”

You know I love you Kelly, and I’m saying this to all people that are super wealthy : if you end up broke, it’s because of stupid decisions.
When you have that much money, with the interests only, it’s already a huge budget for all the things listed.
When you crave material things like that, it’s never enough. And what for in the end… appearance ? And risking going bankrupt for that ?
Then just imagine the life of a regular John Doe trying to pay his bills and save up some coins to try to afford things like some basic shopping, activities or a trip…
I’m actually very surprised to hear this coming from her because I thought she was smarter than this with her money.

She did not put the right Music out. Look im a Kelly Fan too but you can not start attacking people. Her team is the biggest Problem in all this mess. I think her husband didnt had the experince to be her Manager he didnt spent the money well enough. She need to higher a great manager like Scooter Braun he is a beast he can help her to get the attention she need. If her team didnt promote her Music well enough you cant blame the people.

Roc nation has a habit of buying artists to curb the competition for the major act. They delay on albums and there is always an issue with artist music releases.
The reason being is potentially they don’t want another artists competing. It’s great for the main customer however it’s not so great for consumer. as we lose the choice of quality music. Plus it makes for poor content creation..
It’s sad how she hardly ever acknowledge LeToya & LaTavia as if they were never in the group with them. LaTavia played a role in her being in Destiny’s Child. Smh

Right. She was RAISED under Bey’s shade and brainwashed into s****-like loyalty to build & back her up into solo superstardom. Kelly’s tone is the best of the group. “Stole” was 20 years ahead of its time (no surprise there; like Brandy, Kelly’s an Aquarius). And Kelly’s albums are more enjoyable. Too bad out colorist, Matthew Know-less, invested little in her (did he think her darker skin did her in?) than he did in his Creole daughter.
I appreciate how honest Kelly was about this situation because I know that was very hard to do.
It’s a shame she didn’t use her millions to invest in something useful years ago. She could have done cosmetics focused on people with her skin tone made so much money…. i guess Rihanna got there first. She could ho into skin care as her skin is smooth. Ah well.
