Published: Saturday 4th Jul 2020 by Sam

Pop Smoke tragically lost his life earlier this year after a shooting at his home.

To honor the enduring resonance of the young talent, the star’s team have released ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon’ as his debut full-length album.

Following this February’s mixtape ‘Meet The Woo 2,’ the LP has been one of the summer’s most anticipated.

How does that translate commercially?

The first week forecasts are in. Join us after the jump…

According to Hits Daily Double, Smoke will make a splash on the Billboard 200 to the tune of:

175,000-195,000
[Sales Plus Streams]
*******
27,000-30,000
[Pure Sales]

Streaming of the album has been especially strong, with almost 200 million track spins tallied.

The numbers have Smoke in clear contention for the top spot on the charts.

I’m so happy for him. Such a great talent and a representation of New York City who was taken away so early. He made an impact and was little by little making his presence known in the music industry especially now that Hip Hop is the leading genre.
