The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards has named its host — Keke Palmer!

In an announcement made moments ago, organizers for the August 30th event revealed the singer will be hosting this year’s festivities.

The news arrives on the same day it was revealed that Palmer is joining the cast of Disney+ series ‘The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder.’

As previously reported, Doja Cat, J Balvin, and BTS are the first set of performers confirmed to rock the VMAs.

    She hasn’t missed a beat since losing the morning show gig. Good for her. And I’m glad this show won’t be virtual. TV shows and movies have already started filming again.
