Maybe it’s the way she’s singing the song or the instrumental but this songs like a song better fit vocally and artistically fit Beyoncé. It wouldve fit perfectly as a bonus track for “BEYONCÉ” or EVERYTHING IS LOVE, but for Monica it’s terribly boring. She’s doing nothing really besides a cute cadence. No Harmonies, no adlibs, no riffs or runs, no anything. This isn’t even album track material.
