She delivered 7 platinum albums in an 8 year span w/ 14 No.1 iconic hits and several more that didnt reach No.1 solo and featured. She made her mark. She had nothing left to prove.
She has ultimately chosen to use her legacy to become a businesswoman, philanthropist, and cultural ambassador. Good for her.
However, this long delayed album has been in the making for at least 2-3 years at this point. Will she release new music in 2021 that was already recorded in 2018 and 2019, etc
I’m in no rush for new Riri… she can do anything she wants at this stage of her career.
Her diehards though are deservedly frustrated by this point.
Her lack of accessibility and engagement w/ her fans is also bit concerning. I wonder how she will promote new music after now 5 year hiatus.
