Taylor Swift is getting candid.

Hot off the release of her ninth studio album, ‘Evermore,’ the music superstar sat down with Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe to discuss the project.

On what inspired her to create ‘Evermore,’ she said:

“When I put out ‘Folklore,’ I remember just feeling so proud and happy, but still foot on the gas like let’s keep going. All of my collaborators felt the same way about it, so we just kept going.”

On finishing the album:

“With this one, I have this feeling of quiet conclusion and this weird serenity of we did what we set out to do and we’re all really proud of it.”

Swift’s fans – affectionately dubbed Swifties – are apparently proud of the album too, as it is set to make a huge splash on the Billboard 200 chart next we (as we reported here).

Needless to say, as Swift has continued to venture deeper into the woods, she has found continued success.
