The Game Calls Drake “The Michael Jackson Of Hip-Hop”

Published: Thursday 17th Dec 2020 by Ryan

Drake has just received a huge compliment from fellow rapper The Game.

During an interview with Power 106, The Game took the time to compliment his friend from the north, comparing him to the King of Pop.

His words below…

“There’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 albums than me. I think Drake has 10 and his last effort [‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’] was 11.”

“Drake is amazing. He’s like the Michael Jackson of hip-hop. There’s no writer, there’s no artist like Drake. He different. Everything Drake does is amazing.”

Both rappers collaborated on the song ‘100’ back in 2015.

This is not the first time that Drizzy has been compared to Jackson, as Fat Joe has also called him the Michael Jackson of his generation (as we reported here).

Earlier this year, Drake surpassed Jackson and Madonna to become the artists with the most Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

His next album, ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ is due out in January (as we reported here).

Do you agree with the comparison? Let us know…

Bring a culture vulture, using other peoples works following trends and not creating. I don’t think that’s a Michael…. that’s more like the J.Lo of hip hop!!

Boy BYE ya better put RESPECT on MJs name. Ain’t nobody comparable or seeing him or the last greats. Get back to me when Drake drops something remotely on the level of Thriller. If it weren’t for streaming “free” these artist of today wouldn’t be nothing. Mediocre has got to go 💯💯

Every body with more than 3 number #1 albums have more than you sweety. Only 3 of his 9 albums reached number 1, his last album to do so was in 2011. I guess he hasn’t seen the charts since then or something lol

Why is Fancy CLOWN calling its self “TrollKilla”? LOL

Talent wise, lmao; consistent success wise, yes. Drake debuted 12 years ago and hasn’t flopped yet. As an artist, specifically a rapper that’s unheard of. That Drake reign just won’t let up.

Is it crack?? Mj success transcended all genres meaning there is no equivalent of him in any genre his one of a kind. When drake can replicate thriller then you can talk otherwise put the crack pipe down. How far do you want to wedge yourself up drake ass the game?

Drake can’t even replicate the success or artistry of his own “Take Care”, which is why he moved on to Trap-Rap and chasing trends. There are plenty of artist who can see Drak on stage, in the studio, in a battle, etc. but they don’t have the d*** riding and exposure he has.

Uuhh no. Not a good comparison imo. The stage presence that MJ brings FOR ONE is unmatched. I think one needs MORE than hits to really be compared to MJ. I like you Game, but you talking too much.

Let’s see him sell 100 million off of 1 album with pure copies only. Until then, don’t disrespect Michael

That would be Kanye, or Jay Z.
