After almost eight years since he topped the charts with ‘Blurred Lines,’ Robin Thicke has teamed up with Pharrell once more on the song ‘Take Me Higher.’
The funk-infused song was produced by The Neptunes hitmaker, which samples Kool & the Gang‘s ‘Ladies Night.’
The new song is Thicke’s most recent offering from his upcoming album, ‘On Earth, and in Heaven’ due out February 12.
Thicke said of the project:
“This is an album about the people who aren’t here and the people who are here that made me who I am. This music is the sunshine coming out after the rain. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.“
