Predictions Are In: Jazmine Sullivan Set for Her BEST Billboard 200 Debut Yet with ‘Heaux Tales’

Published: Wednesday 13th Jan 2021 by Rashad

‘Heaux Tales’ – the latest entry in the discographic story of prized R&B songstress Jazmine Sullivan – arrived January 8, coming as her first body of work released since 2015’s ‘Reality Show.’

Housing the critically acclaimed cuts ‘Pick Up Your Feelings,’ ‘Lost One,’ ‘Girl Like Me’ (featuring GRAMMY-winning singer H.E.R.), and more, the 14-track conceptual project pounced to the top of multiple real-time sales tallies despite minimal promotion (as we reported here).

Now at the midway point of its inaugural sales week, industry analysts have lifted the lid on their official prediction of how those sales (alongside streaming figures) will tally by the end of that tracking period. And, if the data is to be believed, fans apparently couldn’t wait to get their hands on new music from the diva!

See the numbers inside:

Jazmine Sullivan’s ‘Heaux Tales’ EP

Predicted First Week Sales (SPS):  39,000 units

Predicted First Week Sales (Pure): 7,000 units

Predicted Billboard 200 Debut:  #5

If the forecast above rings true, ‘Heaux Tales’ will mark the highest Billboard 200 placement of her career as it’s set to surpass her previous best – the #6 premiere of her 2008 debut studio album ‘Fearless.’

You have to work and use the computer and internet, and if you can do that and dedicate some time each day then you can do this with no problem.
I have been working with this for a month and have made over $2,000 already. let me know if you need more help.

    This is just… music…
not bad, not good. Im really disappointed being that she is my favorite artist. She has yet to match anything as good as Love Me Back. I wish that artist would learn… we are not here for interludes and theres 6 of them here that lost their value after the first listen. Give us full songs longer than two minutes and more than 8 songs.

She said repeatedly that this is a project and not an album and the full album comes afterwards

      Yeah, I hate interludes

    • Thug2000 January 13, 2021

It’s a conceptual album!!! The interludes tie everything together. Y’all are so used to a bunch of random songs being thrown together with no real direction or theme. Enjoy the storytelling!

She is so talented and beautiful, my ears are blessed, I cant stop replaying her tiny desk performance. I love her for this EP, her confidence and soul….man she better keep this flame lit

NEVER IN ALLLLL MY YEARS ON THIS SITE! YOU HAVE GIVEN THE BESTTTTTTTTTT POINT OF VIEW OPINION. DIDNT GO INTO HER LIFE OR WHAT SHE DID. JUST LISTENED FOR WHAT IT WAS. THANK YOU. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT ALL THESE COMMENTERS WERE INSANE AND HATEFUL. HUMILITY STILL EXISTS 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

    Well deserved! P

It was a smart window of time to release! Glad she’s reaping the benefits.

This is a pleasant surprise! While this isn’t my favorite offering of hers, its a solid effort nonetheless. It only took her singing about some heaux s*** to finally get recognition smh lol.

  7. Pat January 13, 2021

Not bad. Some younger artists who r everywhere still can’t do this

  8. just+saying January 13, 2021

Well deserved. She’s in her pocket on this EP. It’s a critical smash, too. Pitchfork gave her “Best New Music” with an 8.6 rating, and other reviewers have been equally impressed. Very dope.

    Jazmine is the New Testament.

So many singers old/new agree that her tone, range, pitch, enunciation, and storytelling is unmatched.

Regardless of sales or popularity, which R&B singer can hold a torch to Jazmine LIVE right now. not old tracks, not old stats…. but LIVE right now…

    I’ll wait..
