Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak are off to a blazing start with their new joint venture, Silk Sonic.
The pair, who are going by said alias for their duo name, unleashed the single ‘Leave The Door Open’ as their premiere effort ahead of incoming album ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic.’
And with the track having ignited an excitement for the project overall, the pair are wasting no time amplifying buzz with a tease of a brand new song.

Taking to Instagram to promote the arrival of his new Lacoste line, Mars posted a clip that contained a fresh track he confirmed is titled ‘Silk Sonic Intro.’ Check it out…

The clip comes as ‘Leave The Door Open’ spends another consecutive day atop of the iTunes US tally.
Also buzzing on the Bruno Mars front is speculation about a possible Silk Sonic performance at this Sunday’s GRAMMY Awards.
Over the last few days, the singer has been playfully tweeting the academy to “allow” him and Anderson to perform.

From our vantage point, this amounts to creative promotion. Because both men (especially Bruno) are GRAMMY darlings and with the show around the corner, it’s in no way fathomable that a performance isn’t on the cards. Particularly after the tweets.
