Hot 100: J. Cole Joins Exclusive List of Hitmakers To Debut 4 or More Songs in the Top 10

Thanks to his latest chart-topping album, ‘The Off-Season,’ rapper J. Cole scores again!

See how inside:

Just a day after learning his history-making latest LP topped the Billboard 200 with the highest first-week sales for a male act this year (second only to Taylor Swift overall), Cole’s now making history on the Billboard Hot 100 side of the charts.

Of the project’s 12 tracks, 4 of them debuted inside the tally’s top 10.  The gargantuan feat ties the 36-year-old as the fourth artist in history to accomplish such feat and follows Drake, Juice Wrld, and Lil Wayne as the only other acts to debut four or more singles in the chart territory.

Billboard reports:

“J. Cole’s “,” with 21 Savage and Morray, vaults in at No. 2 on the Hot 100, with 41.1 million streams, 1.3 million in airplay audience and 2,800 sold.

J. Cole achieves his highest Hot 100 rank, besting the No. 4 peak of “Middle Child” in February 2019. He ups his count to 10 career top 10s, as he also debuts with “amari” at No. 5, led by its 37.8 million streams; “,” with Lil Baby, at No. 7 (35.1 million); and “95.south” at No. 8 (34 million). J. Cole’s four new Hot 100 top 10s are all from his new Billboard 200 No. 1The Off-Season. The set joins the ranks of albums with at least five Hot 100 top 10s each as, a week earlier, the release’s “Interlude” debuted at No. 8.”

Dope album bad!! 95 South or 100. Mil’ should be his next single. I would prefer 95 south though. The ending gets me to hype every time. Now it’s time for Kendrick Lamar to drop. The two true kings of hip hop at the moment.
