In sad news, Keyshia Cole‘s mother Frankie Lons has reportedly died.

Frankie, whose relationship with the GRAMMY nominee was chronicled in earnest on BET series ‘Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is’ and spin-off show ‘Frankie & Neffe,’ is believed to have passed away on her 61st birthday.
Confirmation of her death came courtesy of Cole’s singer sister Elite Noel, who posted the following on Instagram:
“Worse pain ever…. to see my Mama in a body bag on her birthday. My heart so f*ckin broke!”
UPDATE: TMZ reports that Frankie died of a drug overdose.

all Keyshia’s fault for not taming Frankie and still allowing Frankie to Drink 1 gallon of liquor per day. Most likely drank that much BECAUSE it was her birthday, imagine getting LESS wise as u age. RIP FRANKIE
