Little Mix continues to re-write the history books.
With over a decade of success under their belt and no signs of slowing down, the trio has netted yet another major achievement.
Full story below…
Their current single ‘Heartbreak Anthem’ – a collaboration with Galantis and David Guetta – spends another week in the top 10 (at #7).
This means Little Mix has now spent 100 weeks in the top 10 of the Official UK Singles Chart across the length and breadth of their career; which is more weeks than any girl group in the history of the tally.
The closest competition is Girls Aloud (61 weeks), The Supremes (59 weeks), the Sugababes (57 weeks), and the Spice Girls (50 weeks).
Speaking on the feat, which arrives days after ensemble’s Madame Tussauds wax figures were unveiled, member Leigh-Anne Pinnock expressed thanks on the group’s behalf in a special video message:
Little Max has achieved 18 top 10 singles in the UK, including ‘Sweet Melody’ which rocketed to #1 at the start of this year.
Congrats!
