Toni Braxton has one of music’s most iconic voices. So while it didn’t bode well for the length of her stay on the latest season of ‘The Masked Singer,’ it did make for a memorable stint.
Dressed as the Pufferfish, the GRAMMY winner wowed both the audience and judges with epic performances of Dua Lipa‘s ‘Levitating’ and Doja Cat‘s ‘Say So.’

“Say So” was better than “Levitating”, but I always like to see/hear her. I think her last album deserved so much more… more tracks, more attention, more nominations. She still records great songs and people act unimpressed while falling all over lesser singers and performers. It’s unbelievable.
She needs to be pushed just as hard as them
Proof that if songs like these came her way, she would slay them! I always imagine what “dancing with a stranger” would sound like if Toni sang it. That song would have been perfect for her.

That show is the cutest rigged show in television history. They voted Toni Braxton off.??!! Not surprised. Patti Labelle got votes off too a few seasons back. Crazy.

Toni got voted off because she didn’t actually sing using her real voice and range. Very risky strategy. Her rapping was awesome but let’s be honest, her singing was not impressive at all. Such a shame. You can’t expect the audience to recognize what a great singer she is, when she doesn’t actually sing!
