Ari Lennox may be enjoying watching her latest single, ‘Pressure,’ become her biggest hit to date (as we reported here), but the rising R&B diva’s learning the hard way that success can be a double-edged sword.
During a recent interview with South African podcaster MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho aboard his show ‘Podcast & Chill,’ Lennox was stunned when the host asked her a wildly inappropriate question about her sex life.
The misogynistic inquiry rubbed the songstress such the wrong way she later took to social media to announce she’s done doing interviews.

As seen in the capture by our friends at TSR above, MacG quizzed Ari about the sexually explicit tone of her musical content and live performances.
“And where are we at right now?” he asked. “Is someone f*cking you good right now?”
Visibly uncomfortable, the singer responded:
“That’s a wild question. Why ask it that way? Whoa.”
Shortly after the interview, she took to Twitter to denounce future interviews. Over a string of tweets, Ari revealed:
“I’m just like…why was I alone on a call full of people? Why didn’t anyone intervene?” she wrote in a string of tweets on Friday. “And why wasn’t parts of the interview destroyed like the team promised? Why did it happen to begin with? I just feel slow and ambushed and blindsighted. Just because I happily and freely sing/write about sex don’t make any kind of creepy disrespect warranted. I clearly was in immense shock and hate that I didn’t react differently. But fuck it! I don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me. I’m tired of the narrative. Exhausted. I’m good I promise. But as for interviews I’m not doing them anymore. There’s enough lives and interviews out there already.”
