Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) announced that ‘Cold Heart’ with Elton John had reached Platinum status. This indicates the sales equivalent of 1,000,000 units in the United States.
By reaching the Platinum mark, the song has now become her tenth song to achieve this. She previously did so with the songs: ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ with Martin Garrix (2x Platinum), ‘New Rules’ (5x Platinum), ‘IDGAF’ (2x Platinum), ‘One Kiss’ with Calvin Harris (3x Platinum), ‘Electricity’ with Silk City, ‘Don’t Start Now’ (4x Platinum), ‘Physical,’ ‘Break My Heart,’ and ‘Levitating’ (4x Platinum).
Moreover, ‘Cold Heart’ has gone on to become her fourth Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 when it peaked at #7. For John, it became his 28th top 10 hit. In doing so, it tied him with Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder as the artist with the sixth-most top 10 hits in Hot 100 history.
