Sources tell In Touch that the couple have officially been engaged after five years together.
The rumors of a possible engagement first began to swirl in mid-January after the couple took a trip to Cornwall.
After coupling-up in October 2019, the singer and actor have mostly kept their romance out the public eye. However, Swift shouted-out Alwyn at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards, where she said: “Joe, who is the first person that I sing every single song that I write.”
The pair previously worked together on Swift’s magnum-opus ‘Folklore’ and the acclaimed ‘Evermore,’ when Alwyn served as a co-writer under the name of William Bowery.
As of reporting, neither Alwyn nor Swift have confirmed the engagement news.
