On Super Bowl Sunday (February 13), Snoop Dogg – as part of a historic, Hip Hop-heavy halftime show also featuring Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and 50 Cent – served up a reminder that he has had a 30-year career of cooking up hits.

And while the aftermath of that appearance saw a number of each performer’s top tunes soar up real-time streaming and sales charts (as we reported here), Dogg (born Calvin Broadus Jr.) also had the unique honor of cooking up a win on another chart as his name is printed in the top tier of Amazon’s best-seller list.

‘From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen,’ originally released in October 2018, sits inside the Top 10  of this week’s Amazon’s bestsellers list after the 50-year-old’s stellar showing at the Super Bowl and hosting gig at the 2022 ‘Puppy Bowl’ alongside his ‘Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party’ co-star Martha Stewart.

Topping a number of newer releases in the process, ‘Crook’ is also also #1 on Amazon’s cooking humor and celebrity cookbooks list.  Featuring 50 recipes inspired by everything from Dogg’s family staples to regional favorites of his native California and more, the legendary emcee delivers a variety of meals for every occasion in the critically acclaimed venture.

The news comes as the latest in a slew of victories for Snoop – including news he’ll be hosting the forthcoming ‘American Song Contest’ reality talent competition with Kelly Clarkson.  Click here to read more about that.
