Kanye West is getting candid.
For, the rapper is now opening up about the music video for his song, ‘Eazy.’
More details below…
In the video for ‘Eazy,’ which features rapper The Game, a figurine of West kidnaps, buries and decapitates a model of ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Pete Davidson.
The video quickly drew backlash over its graphic content. This caused Ye to take to Instagram to clear the air. Sharing a picture of a burning church, he said:
“Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended.’
‘Eazy’ is not the only recent West song to reference Davidson. He previously did so on the song ‘City of Gods’ with Alicia Keys and Fivio Foreign.
The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper began calling out Davidson after Davidson was linked to Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
