Olivia Rodrigo is tasting sweet success with her debut album, ‘Sour.’
For, the songstress has now tied a major record previously set by Adele.

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Rodrigo’s ‘Sour’ has officially been certified 3x Platinum for the sales equivalent of 3,000,000 units in the United States.
As a result, it now ties Adele’s ’30’ album as the highest-certified female album this decade.
Moreover, Rodrigo earned additional certifications. ‘Drivers License’ cruised to 5x Platinum status, while ‘good 4 u,’ earned 4x Platinum status. Both songs topped the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2021.
Elsewhere, the album’s second and fourth singles earned multi-platinum certifications as well. ‘Deja Vu’ now sits at 3x Platinum, while ‘Traitor’ has been certified 2x Platinum.
The new certifications come as Rodrigo gears up to release her new documentary, ‘Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U.’
