August Alsina Appears to Address Jada Pinkett Smith “Entanglement” in New Single ‘Shake The World’ [Listen]

Published: Tuesday 5th Apr 2022 by Sam

August Alsina has unlocked a brand new song and both its lyrics and timing have set tongues wagging.

Full story below…

Titled ‘Shake The World,’ the track arrives after 2020’s ‘Entanglements.’ And much like that release, it sounds like the R&B crooner is drawing on his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.

As widely reported, the actress opened up about her brief romantic “entanglement” with the musician during a brief separation from husband Will Smith.

In eyebrow-raising timing, August unwraps his newest number in the aftermath of the actor’s Oscar night fiasco – which saw him slap Chris Rock live on stage after the comedian made a joke about Jada’s bald do. It’s of note that Jada has been candid about alopecia – a medical condition that causes hair loss.

On the song, August belts on the lyrics:

“Well, of course some s – – t is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world’s favorite.”

He went on to add:

“I heard I was canceled. Well, let’s not speak on that. Red dot on my back, I became a target. And I’m flawed but flawless, that’s what makes me August.”

This man have no dignity. How can you jump on a man when he’s down on the floor.

And especially when it’s a black figure that helped shape the black men image for the better.

That’s black on black crime, you should know better.

There is no such thing as racial loyalty. Race is a social construct created by Caucasians. Throughout History, Ppl have ALWAYS identified by Ethnicity hence why the Holocaust happened in Europe OR why Africans helped Europeans capture slaves.

        What? Really what?

      • Da April 6, 2022

Black Americans are part of black African Americans race and that’s part of their ethnicity. So with that said there is no point in what you said even if I can understand that what you tried to say is that you see him as just a human being which in this case is not relevant because this man has nothing to say other than crying that Jada decided she doesn’t want to be with him anymore.

        ***Black Africans race

      • Da April 6, 2022

He should f say thank you Jada for helping me when I needed it the most. And that’s it! But he is ungrateful winy b.tch that got nothing to do in life so he made it to ruin the reputation of Will and Jada.

And BTW I’m with Chris But this shot needs to end.

Race is a social construct because it’s NOT based on scientific fact. It’s based on Caucasian interpretation of Mankind.

A Caucasian w/ black heritage is NOT considered black although Caucasians themselves created the one drop rule which means they’re suppose to be black by their own definition.

Sounds like a flawed worldview to me.

If someone is mixed then he is mixed.

If by heritage you mean 3000 years ago then you probably don’t understand that how it works.

Just like you got dog races there are human races and that’s it.

Why is it complicated to you?

Learn how a race become a race.

Nobody took Will Smith’s masculinity except Jada. This is the problem and nobody seems to be addressing it. When you are the least attractive group of women in existence already, the least you can do is atleast be morally upright to make up for your physical flaws…but noo
