Ari Lennox has pulled the plug on an array of live dates.

In an address to fans on Instagram Stories, the ‘Pressure’ performer informed supporters that a “huge fear” of flying has crippled her ability to travel. As such, she “won’t be doing any shows” that call for her to take to the air.
She wrote:
“For my mental health and sanity, I will not be doing any shows that require me to fly. I can not keep torturing myself with this huge fear of mine. It is literally destroying my health. Enough is enough. I’m so sorry to all that are inconvenienced by this. Don’t know what this will mean for my career but I just can’t do it.”
She continued:
“If there’s any peers or anyone out there who knows of a great hypnotherapist and or feat of flying solutions I would be so grateful. I want to beat this.”
Lennox, who recently parted ways with her longtime management, was booked for a string of dates – including a performance at London’s Wireless Festival next month.
Exactly which dates have been deleted from her itinery remains to be seen.

Ummm she’s been overseas plenty of times and just recently came back from Aruba. People with fear of flying still fly everyday. There’s only so much one can take, or who knows maybe a recent incident triggered her fear.

I understand exactly how you feel. I love to sing and I am a natural born singer. My fear is making it big and have to fly to most places and that one flight that I don’t pay attention to ends up being my last. I understand totally.
