There have been may famous faces to grace Elle for their game of song association, the latest being Rina Sawayama.
Hot on the promotional trail for her latest single, ‘This Hell,’ the acclaimed singer showcased her musical knowledge on the latest episode. During her time there, she covered everyone from Lady Gaga to Charli XCX, David Bowie, and so many more.
As for what songs she specifically covered, well, she covered Lady Gaga’s collaboration with Beyonce called ‘Telephone,’ then it was Charli XCX’s ‘Boys,’ and Davie Bowie’s ‘Changes.’
However, she also included some of her songs such as: ‘Tokyo Love Hotel’ and ‘XS’ from her ‘Sawayama’ album.
Her time at Elle comes as she is gearing up to release her sophomore album, ‘Hold the Girl’ on September 2.

I never really paid her much attention until This Hell….and that is absolutely a huge fault of mine. Rina just oozes elder millennial awkward confidence. She’s so charming and her music is really FN good!
Her visuals make her seem really mean and aloof and full of attitude and cool in a bad way but when I watch her in interviews or clips like this she seems so engaging and fun. I feel I should like her but This Hell is way over-produced for my taste. Interested to hear the album tho
