The set, which was led by the smash hit single ‘Break My Soul,’ premiered atop of the coveted count with equivalent sales of:
332,000
Of that sum, 190,000 was accrued by way of traditional units. Thanks in large part to the various formats that critically-acclaimed LP was made available in – including CDs, limited edition vinyl, and merchandise boxes.
Streaming (SEA) accounted for 138,000 units – from 179.06 million on-demand official streams of the LP’s songs.
‘Renaissance’ becomes Beyonce’s seventh consecutive #1 album on the Billboard 200.
It’s the first album released by a woman in 2022 to top the chart and serves as one of the largest launches of any project of the year so far.
