The Weeknd shocked fans at his show in Los Angeles tonight by pulling the plug on his set mid-concert.

After performing a handful of songs on the second night of his ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’ stop at the Sofi Stadium, the singer cut his showing short by saying:
“I don’t know what just happened… but I just lost my voice. This is killing me, I don’t want to stop the show but I can’t give you the concert I want to give you right now. I’m gonna make sure everybody’s good — you’ll get your money back — I’ll do a show real soon for you guys. But I wanted to come out and personally apologize.
You know how much this kills me, I’m sorry. I love you thank you so much,” he said before exiting the stage.”

All singers lose their voice at some point. Hell regular people lose their voice just by talking normally sometimes. It happens. I wonder if he works with a vocal coach.
He just isn’t up to the job.
Or he’s human. He could’ve easily gone the lip sync/prerecord route like other artists but he chose not to.
