Extending its spell at #1 to five weeks, the LP sold another 125,000 equivalent units for the second consecutive week on the coveted count.
Boasting hits such as ‘Kill Bill,’ ‘Good Days,’ and ‘I Hate U,’ the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Ctrl’ continues to make history.
For, ‘S.O.S’ becomes the first R&B album by a female artist to spend its first five weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 this century (since Janet Jackson‘s ‘janet.’ in 1993).
The news arrives in the same week the TDE songbird hatched the video for ‘Bill.’ It also comes as that track challenges for #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Beyonce hasn’t released a single performance or music video yet had multiple top 10 singles and a number 1 album, after grammy’s, it will definitely become bigger. People clealry want to listen to her music if not cuff it won’t be charting for this long and in the top 10 even though there hasn’t been a single performance, remix or music video. SZA has released lots of versions and music video and actual promo. If Beyonce does then she will definitely outsell SZA easily. Just happy SZA is keeping Taylor swift from making the charts so bland. But she should enjoy it while it lasts because when Beyonce restart this era, Queen bee will 100% dominate
I think it’s because SOS is personal and there’s narrative storytelling. Don’t get me wrong, I like Renaissance but I guess people this time are resonating more with an album that’s a personal reflection of the artist. I like SZA’s writing. The album is easy to listen to. Although I’m not a fan of Taylor I can appreciate her writing too.
SZA’s pen alone is nuts! Her voice is unique, her ear for melody and song arrangement abilities easily set her apart from other artists in her genre. Her music is NEVER the typical stuff you hear on the radio these days. In my opinion, Good Days > anything on Renaissance. 🤷

The album isn’t bad, it is a bit boring especially due to her weak autotuned vocals but she has improved, Renaissance is definitely the better album though, hence it went number 1 on bb200 and has had multiple top 10 singles including an 8th number 1 single in her solo career, she just needs to promote it. Next month it would definitely be 15x more popular than it is now. Trust in bey’s promotional plan
