The Weeknd‘s work rate is proving itself more potent by the day.
Currently on the ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour,’ the superstar is fresh off the release of his recent album ‘Dawn FM’ which itself followed the seismic success of 2020’s ‘After Hours’ LP.
The booked and busy chanteur is also gearing up for a slate of projects on HBO – including scripted series ‘The Idol’ and concert special ‘The Weeknd Live at the SoFi Stadium’ (which premieres on February 25).
It appears more music is on the mind.
See what we mean below..
Taking to Twitter moments ago, Abel shared:
“HBO concert will be the last piece of Dawn FM. i can see the horizon …”
The flavor of the message mirrors the teasing the singer engaged in for ‘Dawn FM.’
It’s also of note that upon the release of that LP last January, The Weeknd hinted at a “new trilogy” (one seemingly different from his mixtape series titled ‘Trilogy’).
i wonder… did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy? pic.twitter.com/G5TfjvJVyM

Are you hyped for new Abel?
I don’t want to hear another snoozefest from the weeknd, he can’t even sing live. Give me a soulful Bruno Mars album.
Listen, ugly lmaooooooooo…Bruno Thee Midget isn’t even on my music shelf at ALL 🤣🤳🏽💋 Bye, imposter ugly 😂 ABEL IS COMING 🥰 🎶🔥
It’s time to change your sound again Abel. I bought After Hours and DAWN FM, they are considered quarantine classics and got us thru hard times but every one in the industry is taking your retro 80s dance-pop formula.
