Beyonce is full of surprises!
For, the megastar music maven has announced the launch of a brand new high fashion collection, ‘Renaissance Couture’ in collaboration with Balmain.
A joint vision between Queen Bey and Olivier Rousteing, the line – which is comprised of 16 outfits – represents each of the 16 tracks found on the diva’s chart-topping ‘Renaissance’ album.
To trumpet the news, the ‘Cuff It’ hitmaker poses it up on the cover of Vogue France‘s April 2023 issue.

Speaking on the haute couture line, which is billed as the first wearable album, Beyonce said:
“Thank you Olivier Rousteing and Balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture. Designing alongside you was freeing—thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself.
To the Vogue France team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world.”
She added:
“Olivier is a dream collaborator and a constantly innovating and evolving creative. All that he has done as a Black designer in breaking down and opening doors has been inspiring. From our very first meeting, to his designs over the years for my performances and appearances, I knew one day I would work with him on a collection. I am so proud of what we created and the synergy that formed between our teams.”
Rousteing concluded:
“Beyoncé advocates for freedom above all else, for freedom in today’s world. This is a powerful voice that resonates. She speaks of diversity, of every kind of diversity, and pays tribute to the queer community, honoring house music, ballroom and voguing balls.”
