This summer will see three of R&B’s most iconic groups join forces to heat up the block!
For, as reported, Jodeci are embarking on the ‘Summer Block Party Tour’ along with SWV and Dru Hill.
Upon its announcement, the must-see trek sent fans into a frenzy – especially on the heels of the buzz SWV generated as part of hit Bravo series ‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.’
Attention quickly turned to when folk can catch the show on the road.
Well, wonder no more. Because the dates have been unveiled.

Produced by Live Nation Urban, the tour kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 28 and will make several stops across North America before wrapping in September.

Xscape could NEVER
Xscape is actually on tour and is HEADLINING (unlike SWV, this is Jodeci’s tour) and look at the venue sizes! In my city Xscape did a show at a 11,000 capacity arena and SOLD OUT….SWV is playing a 4,100 venue. So you’re right Xscape could NEVER be a non-headlining act playing at these small venues.
SWV is the best female singing group of all time. They have hit after hit after hit after hit. Whereas xscape has like 2-3 hits? No diss to xscape. I love their music.. Also looking forward to dru
Yet….SWV is playing at microscopic venues and Xscape is still touring arenas. Funny how that works out.
