Nick Cannon is opening up about his past relationship with Mariah Carey, where he compared them to two polarizing political figures.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Cannon opened up about his marriage to Mariah.
“Imagine if, like, Trump and Putin had to live in the same house,” he told the publication.
“It wasn’t even about her and I — we’ve always been good. It was more about us understanding that instead of making it about our relationship and what I want or what you want, we should just do what’s best for the children,” he would go on to add.
Cannon and Carey married in 2008 and the two would go on to separate in 2014.
The news comes as Cannon alluded to a massive salary to take care of his 12 kids in the same session (as we reported here).
