I saw some clips on TikTok and something was off, it gave very low energy. Not Beyonce like and definitely not suitable for an album like Renaissance. That’s not fair to say. You’re hating. Beyonce is one of if not the best performer of our generation. I saw her Miss Carter concert and she blew me away. You don’t see that level of showmanship anymore. Everything’s mediocre and for the “vibes”. She loves her craft and always strives to be better. I respect that.
I think for what renaissance is and how big the sound, Beyoncé not giving much on this first night. The tickets are expensive and it’s just not the tour be less than stellar. I know the hive is trying to do all kinds of rationalizing saying she 40 and has done enough but if that is the case, maybe she should just not do the tour. Surgery or not. Something is off. Hopefully she gets better before US leg of tour because these tickets expensive. It’s supposed to be a crazy energetic experience but I’m not getting any of that from what I’ve seen so far
If she indeed got some sort of leg or foot surgery a few months ago, I don’t see things changing much. Those type of surgeries can take years to fully recover from, if you recover at all. Beyonce puts her body through a lot. You see how much weight she lost for this tour. She has to be in pain physically and mentally. Her body will never be the same but I agree with you for the most part. She shouldn’t have taken on this huge task if she wasn’t ready physically. Bey is known for putting on a show now it seems she’s relying on production and props to get her through. And I’m saying this as a casual fan, not a stan.
@Liza – She lost weight by using a Ozempic, a diabetes medication. She didn’t put in any work losing weight. As soon as she stops taking it she’s going to be a fat @ss again.
