The legend’s latest live trek kicked off in April and thrilled audiences across North America – generating history-making box office sums for the diva.
Last night saw the ‘Together Again Tour’ – which featured special guest Ludacris – reach its climax at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.

Well she’s had sold out dates the entire tour, so regardless of what she grossed, it was a job well done! She’s not out here scamming people out of their rent money to see them like Taylor and Beyonce. Stadium tours are nice and all, but not gonna pay 3k plus for floor seats or over 600 for a nosebleed seat at a stadium. And when you need all the extra people on stage and props it’s bc you lack something. Janet is a performer and remains a blueprint. What are you selling out……your hot box you call a 😺? I’m convinced Janet went on this tour because she needed the money. There was no other reason. It was only 2.5 months long…just a quick money grab. I know C**** had some celebs sitting still for a few years I know she has an entourage to pay and bills add up. Somewhere Black Diamond is sitting on a shelf getting dated. Oh the era that could have been. Oh well guess she is back to being mom for another 5 years.
She was going on tour in 2020 with her new album but C**** happened. This tour was expected and not a money grab. Janet has never had reported money issues and tours because she wants to, not because she has too. Shes good financially.
Janet knew fans were anxious to see her since everyone missed out on the Black Diamond tour. This show filled a void and gave fans the rare chance to meet her with the meet and greet package. She previewed new music and probably has much bigger plans for the tour that will accompany her next album.
Janet has money trust! And she also gets her divorce settlement which was estimated between 200-500 million. Broke where? Especially with a billionaire ex husband! Janet is independent now and can release on her own terms as she did with unbreakable back in 2015. Yes, it’s taking forever, but she’s an older woman with a very young child. She’s also has her other documentary coming out. The first one she got a decent check from especially after a viewership of over 20 million. Yes she waits too long to release, but she’s far from broke. This is also not the end of her tour, just the first leg of it. Ludacris and Janet both mentioned more to come on their IG lives. After watching her interview with ET last month, it’s clear she doesn’t want to release music and just be a mom. However, can you blame her at this stage in life? If she does any new music, it needs to be a collaboration album since she hasn’t done a whole lot in her career. She’s truly taking time off rn, bc the touring market is way too crowded this summer. Gil said it during his live a few months back that she went out early and ending before summer because there are soo many people touring. You have to secure location’s for your tours. The summer is impossible when Madonna is about to tour, SZA had most major venues booked, Beyonce hits the states next month, Taylor was already touring on some of her same dates as well. Now everyone who had not announced tours are out this summer. Janet and her team were definitely smart about how they went about this tour all things considered! Let’s not forget she was supposed to tour summer of 2020 but the pandemic prevented it and delayed the album more. So definitely not due to needing money!
