Chloe Bailey was on hand at the 2nd annual ‘Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom.’
Simulcast on CNN and OWN, the special united an eclectic tally of talent to toast the emancipation of enslaved Black US slaves.
The occasion saw Bailey pay special tribute to Tina Turner – who sadly died last month aged 83.
Taking center stage, the 24-year-old delivered a powerful rendition of ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It.’
Bailey also joined Nelly for a performance of ‘Dilemma.’

One of her biggest problems vocally is she never hits the big notes. I love a falsetto but not in the place of a belt. That’s why most of her songs fall flat too. Treat me and pray it away needed big climax notes that she can’t seem to hit

They should have got Fantasia to tribute Tina. She has the grit and rockstar edge in her vocals that Tina had. Plus she can rip a stage. Chloe is cute but doesn’t do much for me. Trust, Beyonce & Parkwood had everything to do with this. Chloe is lucky to have them.
It’s odd that they would pair Chloe with Nelly who’s old enough to be her father when it’s always been Kelly who is one of his peers.
