Beyonce reaffirmed her Queen status with the release of her chart-topping seventh studio album, ‘Renaissance.’
Home to chart-topper ‘Break My Soul’ and global smash ‘Cuff It,’ the GRAMMY-winning project served as one of the best-selling and most critically acclaimed offerings of the last year.
However, despite being the pioneering “visual album” format for her era, the superstar has been surprised by pressing forward with the project – and its history-making tour – sans a visual component.
The mystery has been the subject of much discourse among fans.
Now, a new report appears to shed light on what has been happening behind the scenes.

Jeff Sneider at Above The Line reports that a ‘Renaissance’ visual film was shot in secret by British Nadia Lee Cohen.
The revered British creative has helmed captivating output from the likes of Tyler the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Katy Perry, and Kali Uchis, as well as brands such as Adidas, Balenciaga, Gucci, and Valentino.
“artsy” and “in line with Beyonce’s other visual albums Lemonade and Black Is King, but also “weirder” and hasn’t been Disney-fied like the latter film, which won an Emmy for its striking costumes.It’s a visual album movie, but it’s like an art film, and I’ve also heard it’s better than Black Is King.”

I highly doubt it’s just now being shopped around over a year after the album dropped. And her tour is also almost over. You’d think she would have this already lined up a long time ago.
My guess on why it’s been delayed is due to Bey not being pleased with the final quality of the MVs. She prob wanted them all to be shot like they’re all lead singles.
