Lauryn Hill may have already sent her dedicated fans into a frenzy with news she’ll be reuniting with The Fugees aboard the 25th anniversary tour of her groundbreaking debut album, ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,’ but now reports have surfaced she’s set to give them a taste of what they can expect aboard the global trek via a headlining slot at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stray Kids, Anitta, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion, D-Nice, and Sofia Carson are among the big names slated to hit the stage at this year’s Global Citizen Fest on September 23.
Taking place at the Great Lawn of Central Park in New York City, other celebrities set to appear at the annual fundraising affair are Bill Nye, Carmelo Anthony, Common, Danai Gurira, Gayle King, Jordan Fisher, Lewis Pugh, Padma Lakshmi, Phoebe Gates, and more.
Presented by Citi and Cisco (in partnership with Delta Air Lines, P&G, Verizon, Live Nation, iHeartMedia, and others), this year’s Global Citizen campaign is focused on the systemic governmental issues that perpetuate extreme poverty.
Free tickets to the 2023 Global Citizen Festival are available at globalcitizen.org.
Those who cannot attend in person can view the event on ABC, ABC News Live, Apple Music and the Apple TV app, Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, Facebook, Hulu, iHeartRadio, Instagram, Mediacorp, SABC, TikTok, TimesLIVE, Veeps, X, YouTube, the Global Citizen app, and globalcitizen.org.
That lineup is beat.
