Usher is heading to the Super Bowl and he’s looking to score a touchdown.

As reported, the Diamond-selling superstar has been tapped to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show 2024.

Set to take place on February 11, the spectacle will see the performer join an elite list of names who have graced the seismic stage – including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, and Beyonce.

As if that wasn’t enough epic news for fans of the R&B veteran, he ignited excitement the more when officially announcing his 9th studio album ‘Coming Home.’

Serving as Usher’s first solo project since 2016’s ‘Hard II Love,’ the LP will savvily be released on Super Bowl Sunday.

Speaking on ‘Coming Home’ (which features the single ‘Good Good’ with Summer Walker and 21 Savage), Usher teased special guests and assured that his Halftime Show is “going to be a moment.”

Opening up about his new album ‘Coming Home,’ the GRAMMY winner told Lowe:

“It’s a love letter to the legacy of my career. I’ve been coming home in a lot of different ways. The choice of music and reconnection (with) some of the people I’ve worked with from my past and people I’ve always wanted to work with. Writers that I’ve actually made hit #1 records with. In a sense, I’m coming home because I’m in that comfortable space. When you’re at home, you feel comfortable. When you’re at home, you feel connected. And inspired too. Me and L.A Reid working together once again. The inspiration I’m drawing from does come with a bit of complication, which is in the music. There’s a lot of honesty.”

Speaking of Atlanta artists and special guests, ATL went crazy last night when Ne-Yo brought out Jeezy and Keri Hilson on different songs. You have to find the videos. They should’ve just added Keri to the bill instead of Pleasure P.

I think they needed to get another gengre this year to much rnb and Hip Hop i liked them to do Rock or Pop i dont care how many hits he has people are tired to see one Gengre they need to kick Jay Z out of those decisions

      • Lucky September 25, 2023

Fortunately you’re a nobody. The GP has shown that they’re satisfied with the decision… besides pop and rock artists were the only headliners at one point byeeee

  9. Ariana cloud☁️ September 24, 2023

He has at least #1 hit in 3 consecutive decades (90s, 00s, 10s)

If he hit #1 this 20s, he’s gonna be the first male artist to have #1 in 4 consecutive decades (90s, 00s, 10, 20s) 😱

    • Diabetes UNBOTHERED September 24, 2023

      💯

I like Kylie but she was never big in the US compared to many other countries. I don’t think she’s the right fit for the job.
