As if the last two weeks haven’t brought enough good good news for Usher, the 8x GRAMMY winner has added yet noteworthy win to the pile thanks to the ongoing success of his latest hit, ‘Good Good.’
Details inside.
Just days after it was announced the 44-year-old will be bringing his talents to the 2024 Super Bowl stage as headliner of the halftime show, Ush scored a separate touch down on the Billboard Hot 100 this week thanks to his Summer Walker and 21 Savage-assisted hit ‘Good.’
Already listed as the highest-charting song he’s nabbed in years (as a song leader), this week the Mel & Mus-produced bop soared to #36 – cracking the top 40 for the first time in its 7-week tenure on the tally.
Here are the numbers that powered the ascent.
- Streaming ≈ 5.4 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio Airplay ≈ 34.9 million audience impressions
- Digital Downloads ≈ 1,600 sold
The R&B veteran collects the 34th top 40 hit of his career while ‘Good’ gleams as the 7th and 28th for Walker and Savage respectively. In fact, the last time the R&B veteran entered the chart region was in 2016 when he reached #32 with his own ‘No Limit‘ and #40 as assistant on Chris Brown‘s ‘Party.’
