Eight weeks after first bringing her viral hit, ‘Water,’ to the shores of American Pop charts, South African songstress Tyla has sailed to her first top 10 placement on the Hot 100.
Already a top 20 hit by its lonesome thanks to enduring streams, digital downloads, and visibility on Tik Tok courtesy of a viral dance challenge, Tyla doused the sizzling, Sammy Soso-produced cut with even more fuel by unveiling two remixes (assisted by chart-toppers Marshmello and Travis Scott respectively) on November 17.

With the ascension Tyla becomes the youngest South African performer (and first female) to have a top 10 hit on the all-genre chart.
