The same week Ciara made headlines for giving birth to her fourth child she was also delivered news her latest hit, ‘How We Roll,’ had rolled to a new height on the Billboard charts.
Details inside.
As previously reported, the Chris Brown-assisted ‘Roll’ has quietly become Cici’s biggest hit over the last decade.
Despite a modest opening on R&B charts in August upon its release, the slow-burning tune found its footing on radio in the weeks that followed and eventually soared to the top 20 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts respectively by the end of November.
For context, these tallies rank the most-played R&B and Hip-Hop songs played on Urban and Urban Adult stations in the United States.
The refreshed edition of the former tally now shows the Deli Banger-produced bop comfortably at #9 – the highest position Ciara’s reached on it since 2015’s ‘I Bet’ bolted to a #7 peak. There, it’s become her 15th top 10 hit.
Faring even better on the updated version of the latter hitlist, ‘Roll’ has jetted to #6. The rung is the highest she’s touched on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay since 2013’s ‘Body Party’ danced its way to #1 for 3 weeks. There, ‘Roll’ has become her 15th top 10 hit as well.
Bolstered by a Lil Wayne-assisted remix, Ci’s latest hit has also enjoyed gains on streaming platforms – so much so we could see the cut crack the Hot 100 after the rush of holiday tunes dissipates.

Thanks to CB💯
Usher could NEVER….
Usher 9 Billboard mainstream Hot 100 #1’s and 4 different albums with over 6 million in ACTUAL sales. Bruno Mars, The Weekend, Justin bieber and Ed Sheeran all with at least 5 Billboard mainstream hot 100 #1’s and multiple albums with over 5 million sales/streams in the past 13 years. Chris Brown ZERO of either lol STFU
Here comes the trans kewn, TINOSHAY. All that flip flopping you doing. Just because the RNB charts don’t matter to yo racist whyt a** don’t mean it doesn’t matter to the actual culture that it belongs to. This is a huge win in both CB and CICI’s book. SEETH!! LOL
Lol FIRST OFF I’M BLACK DUMMY, SECOND I’M DEFINITELY A ZILLION AND TRILLION PERCENT STRAIGHT PUSSYYY LOVING MAN.
The R&B charts definitely matters. Usher has more number one hits than CB on the R&B chart, R&B and hip-hop charts and mainstream hot 100 charts. Meanwhile fools like eric keeps mentioning CB with Usher.
LOL!! I wasn’t gonna respond but this is funny. Tino, everyone knows it doesn’t take much to get you going when there’s any mention of Usher, as proven by whoever that is who posted above me. That wasn’t me. I don’t even know why you show up to every Chris Brown post if you don’t like him – that’s a hater’s MO.
I actually don’t respond to most of you delusional Usher haters who comment dumb shitt like flop under every Usher post. You CB delusional cult followers crazy af.
Yikes, she’s having one lukewarm hit per decade
Most of her peers aren’t even getting “that” f*** off hating b****
It’s an ok song. She was smart to go the married to money route. She enjoys a lavish lifestyle, and her music sounds uninteresting and unrelatable now. But I appreciate that debut album and second one was cool too!
What makes it so unrelatable? For the most part she makes dance music with encouraging, inspirational messages these days. Should she be singing about her c****** hole being brown? Please enlighten me!
