Michael Jackson‘s big-screen biopic has set a release date.

Helmed by Lionsgate, the film – titled ‘Michael’ – has been confirmed to Moonwalk into theaters on April 18, 2025.

Last year brought with it major reveals about the flick – including the unveiling of Antoine Fuqua as its director and MJ’s nephew Jaafar Jackson as the lead.

As reported, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’s producer Graham King was granted the rights from the King of Pop’s Estate to mobilize a movie about MJ’s incomparable life with a script helmed by Oscar nominee John Logan.

Jackson’s Estate is involved in the project and has permitted the use of his colossal catalog.

‘Michael’ promises to be a raw and unvarnished account of the megastar’s incomparable life.
