‘On & On’ takes on new meaning for Queen of NeoSoul Erykah Badu as she continues to endure a royal slamming from Beyonce‘s dedicated fanbase (affectionately called the #Beyhive) after taking to social media to infer the ‘Texas Hold Em‘ hitmaker copied her style.

Known just as much for her outspokenness as she is her unforgettable hits, Badu took to Instagram recently to share the vinyl edition cover of Bey’s forthcoming album ‘Renaissance Act II: Cowboy Carter.’
“Hmm,” she simply captioned the pic to her 6.5 million followers on the platform (as seen above).
And while Erykah did not expressly state any accusations of copycatting, some #Beyhive members began buzzing at the inference – namely because the hairstyle Bey was rocking in the artwork is reminiscent of one donned by the ‘Bag Lady’ belter in the past.
Quickly sending her name to trending status on Twitter, the stings from Beyonce’s faithful followers got so bad that Badu took to the same platform to ask for help from the megastar’s music mogul husband JAY-Z.
The perceived diss comes as the second time in as many years Erykah has been slammed by the Beyhive for suggesting Bey’s stolen her looks.
During the era of ‘Renaissance: Act I,’ Badu inferred the Destiny’s Child alum jacked her big shiny hat game by remarking, “I guess I’m everybody stylist.”
