Just last week, Beyonce and Ariana Grande were tied for third place in Billboard history books for most Hot 100 hits among women (85 each).
The shared space was one Grande only got to enjoy for three weeks because Bey’s now eclipsed the ‘Eternal Sunshine‘ songstress in record books thanks to the March 29-released ‘Cowboy Carter.’
As if snatching Ariana’s record for highest first-week sales of 2024 wasn’t enough, Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy’ ride to #1 on the Billboard 200 helped power the placement of some of its tracks on the Hot 100.
Beyond giving Bey three simultaneous top 10 singles, 23 of the 27 songs found on ‘Cowboy’ landed on the refreshed all-genre chart (which will be unveiled in full on April 9).

After today, the next total solar eclipse on Earth is in 2026. It’ll be visible from Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Russia, and a small area of Portugal, while a partial eclipse will be visible in Europe, Africa, and North America.

The next total solar eclipse visible from any point in the contiguous United States will occur in 2044. Totality will only be visible from North Dakota and Montana.

Yeah, the clouds were pretty bad. We didn’t get to see as much of the moon crossing in front of the sun, but we got to see it block it out and the c***** that surrounded it. (There were lots of cheers when that happened.) So it turned out to be a pretty good show after all.
I remember totality almost 60 years later; glancing through old photo negatives with parents shrieking not to look at the sun, eating sandwiches and it is an event!
