As the world’s leading search engine, Google’s ‘Year in Search’ unveiling is one of the most annually anticipated lists of its kind as it reveals the biggest categorical trends of the year based on trillions of searches in the U.S.
While 2024’s overall musicians tally was led by Diddy, Usher ranked #2 – making him the most-searched singer of the past 12 months.
The news comes as no surprise given that the R&B superstar stayed in headlines all year long.
When not dominating the news cycle for dropping a long-awaited new album and later blazing Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, he also made RIAA history alongside his idol Michael Jackson, embarked on a jaw-dropping tour, received the BET Lifetime Achievement Award, and even got married!
Those events and more kept fans burning up Google searching for the latest about the ‘Burn‘ singer.
