Arriving to the all-genre chart a month after Doechii’s viral live TV debut performance of the critically acclaimed cut, ‘Denial’ got an even bigger boost thanks to its star-studded music video that dropped at the top of 2025.
Those powers combined helped the Ian James Beats-produced bop mark multiple milestones for its GRAMMY-nominated performer including marking the highest Hot 100 debut of her career to date – besting the #98 opening of her biggest hit yet ‘What It Is (Block Boy).’
What’s more, ‘Denial’ is her first solo-charting single on the hitlist.
And while Lil Baby‘s GloRilla-co-billed ‘Redbone‘ is the week’s highest-charting new female-led song overall (#53), Doechii’s rising hit is the week’s highest-charting new female-led single.
