Kelly Clarkson continues to make boss moves.
For, the multihyphenate has announced that she is starting her own independent record label – and she’s revealed the first artist she’s signed.

During a sit-down chat with Keke Palmer on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the American Idol winner revealed that she has launched her imprint and will be releasing her new material on it.
Waxing candidly, Clarkson said:
“I’m so much older than you, but it’s the first time in my career…I’ve just now started my own label and putting out my own stuff. And I’ve had some good teams to work with, but there is nothing like being that ten-year-old and being excited. And nobody telling you ‘you should do this and you should do this.’ I feel like I’ve earned it, so I’m excited.”
Clarkson was signed to Sony Music’s RCA Records for the lion’s share of her career before moving to Atlanta Records in 2016. At the latter, she released a string of albums – the most recent of which was 2023’s ‘Chemistry.’
