Over 10 Years After His First Win, Chris Brown FINALLY Collects the Second GRAMMY of His Career Thanks to a 2025 Victory

Published: Sunday 2nd Feb 2025 by Rashad

Chris Brown is now a 2-time GRAMMY winner thanks to a surprise victory at the 2025 ceremony on Sunday night (February 2).

Defeating major competition from R&B leaders Usher, Muni Long, Lucky Daye, and Lalah Hathaway, Brown collected the Best R&B Album trophy at the ceremony’s pre-show for his 2024-released ‘11:11 (Deluxe).

His only win of the night, Chris was bested in the Best R&B Performance and Best African Performance categories.

Coming as the 12th consecutive top 10 album in the U.S. of his career, ’11:11′ is home to hits Residuals,’ ‘Nightmares,’ ‘Sensational,’ and ‘Summer Too Hot.’

The win arrives nearly 13 years after Chris danced his way to the first GRAMMY win of his career when he nabbed the same category for the 2011 LP ‘F.A.M.E.’

I was saying the same thing. Indigo had so many hits on it. Under the influence. Overtime. Come Together all on the all time repeat. Should have been nominated and won. I listen to these songs, stream, love more than anything play or on the grammys list those years.

Correction the Grammy voters FINALLY gave CB his due. He’s deserved a hoard of Grammys. He’s The King of performing and delivers top tier music, tours, and music videos and impacts pop culture tremendously. He’s Chris Brown.

Someone of Chris Brown’s stature doesn’t need Grammy’s. He’s the very best performer in pop music history so he’s automatically one of the greats. By pushing out good music hits he’s surpassed needing awards. He’s iconic and again the greatest dancer and performer.
