After years of swearing she was “done with music” and had no intention of releasing new solo endeavors, ‘Heart to Yours‘ hitmaker Michelle Williams has apparently had a change of heart – much to the delight of her faithful fans.

Hot on the promo trail for her Broadway adaptation of the classic film ‘Death Becomes Her,’ Williams dropped by Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Tamron Hall Show‘ (March 12) to dish on her critically acclaimed performance and more.
While there, Hall surprised the Destiny’s Child alum with quizzing about the next chapter in her solo musical journey.
“I’m thinking about it,” she said to a thunderous applause from the audience. “I would love to [release new music]. I have a great friend and brother who sent me some music awhile ago, and I was like ‘just go for it and see what happens.'”
Williams hasn’t blessed fans with a new body of work since 2014’s ‘Journey to Freedom‘ – home to the #1 Gospel hit ‘Say Yes‘ (featuring Beyonce and Kelly Rowland).
Though Michelle did not confirm when fans should expect the unnamed future project to hit shelves or what genre the effort will fall in, we’re admittedly just excited to know that she’s reconsidered recording new music.
