The collaboration holds steady at #1 on the coveted count for a second week. Just one week prior, the track—paying tribute to the late R&B icon Luther Vandross, whose sample is central to the song—became Kendrick Lamar’s sixth #1 and SZA’s third.
‘luther’ – which is housed on K.Dot’s ‘GNX’ album – also becomes the first song to top both the Adult R&B Airplay and Rap Airplay charts, marking a milestone in the 25+ years both surveys have been published.
This tracking week (Feb. 21-27, 2025), the song earned:
- 38.7 million official streams
- 51 million radio airplay audience impressions
- 4,000 digital downloads
As reported, ‘luther’ marks Lamar’s fourth #1 in less than a year.
