Tyler Perry was one of the many notable names on hand at the Homegoing Service for the late Angie Stone.
As reported, the soulful singer died on March 1 after being involved in a tragic car accident. The ‘No More Rain’ belter was one of 8 passengers in the car and was the sole fatality. She was 63.
The Homegoing Service took place at the Word of Faith Cathedral in Atlanta, Georgia. It precedes Stone’s formal funeral, which takes place tomorrow (March 15) in Columbia, SC.
Praising her as a “prophet,” he declared that she “sowed good things” in her life.
Perry also picked up the baton of the late singer’s issue with the music industry. Specifically what she alleged were missing royalties. Speaking candidly, he quipped: “Where is her money?”

🧐……..ok soo are we now going to have Pastor Perry at every black celebrity funeral? Tyler Perry with the types of shows and messages that you put out on TV daily, please don’t talk about anything Faith related!!!! He needs to go sit down with his nasty ass because he should be locked up just like P. Diddy
Well done Tyler! It’s about time someone of great stature is publicly speaking up. I hope her estate goes after UMG with all their might and get was owed to her.
chile wrong time wrong place! Ya’ll wait till she was dead to make a spectacle about asking for her money?
Your guys act like those human are god he already said he didnt knew about her story which is normal. You can not know everything about someone and most of us learn it after she died.
He paid for it-
Let him speak. Because the label never did and would not have for her
Why do you ask now? You had 30 years to do that. She’s dead…
Money goes to crack probably 💅🏽
