In a surprise performance, Lauryn Hill joined by Wyclef Jean celebrated the life and music legacy of the late great Roberta Flack at her ‘Celebration of Life’ memorial.

The ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ singer paid homage by performing both ‘The First Ever I Saw Your Face’ and ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’ at the ceremony. Both songs were originally sung by Flack.
Stevie Wonder and Reverend Al Sharpton were in attendance, and Wonder performed as well while Sharpton gave the eulogy.
Roberta Flack passed away last month at the age of 88.
May she always be remembered for her musical genius and whom all she influenced with her music.
